Rod seals are used in hydraulic cylinder for the purpose of fluid sealing. They prevent the leakage of fluid from cylinder to outside. a) U-Rings- We have u ring called Nl 300 which is of Polyurethane and has asymmetrical profile with set back inner lip and additional sealing and protective bead on the inner diameter. It provides additional protection against dirt. Application parameters: Pressure: 40 Pa; Temperature: -30 to 110°C Speed: 0.5 m/s Application: Earth-moving machinery, support cylinders, presses etc.

b) Omegat - OMS-MR sealing set consisting of a profile ring with an ISC O-Ring as a buffer element, are generally used in a sealing system. c) Compact Seals – It is double-acting seal and guide element comprising an elastomeric profile seal ring, two back-up rings and two guide rings. It is suitable in sealing element for double acting pistons of hydraulic components. It can be used in fork lifts & handling machinery, machine tools, truck, cranes, agriculture equipment etc.

d) Chevron Seal Set. It is made up of Reinforced cotton fabric, Nitrile elastomer and Fluorocarbon rubber. It can withstand low & high pressure, vigorous conditions and misalignment between sealing gaps.
